the pool

to jaan, the stuffed coach
to fabio, the real monkey
to the ssc swim team

water - a profound manifest
an obscure keeper of
a thousand secrets
flowing memories of
past endeavours

as i take a leap into the pool
the rush of determination
comes at me point-blank
pushing me on is belief
proving myself remains a goal

everything comes flooding back
staring me in the face
i put myself to the challenge
the will to fight
i strive to win

along the lane rope i glide...

comments are welcome! haha i seriously need someone to help me review this poem. somehow i have a feeling its not that good. blah im still an ametuer.

gala was funny. not really fun, but still funny all the more. i think the previous years' galas were nicer.the emcee didnt really interact with the crowd, he only picked people out to entertain the audience and not let the whole audience participate in something.
anyway. mansheng was being damn sick again. i especially like the dance by the older girls. the dance by the younger girls was not as nice. haha sorry if im being mean but its true. whats more, they were so skimpi... nvm i shall not elaborate further lol. i suddenly feel that we elite boys should have put up an item xP. we shall do just that next year then. haha.
oh met han as well. he looks just the same, just that he changed his specs because he knocked into a pole or sth haha. oh and i won the 14th prize for the lucky draw wahaha. its a very nicely decorated box with a nice bamboo-ish handle and cushioned somemore, best of all, it was empty. and for the door gift they gave me a nicely wrapped oblong, slightly narrow rectangular 3 diemnsional figure. i happily opened it and what was inside greeted me with a pleasant surprise. it was a book. of all things, a book with a name frederick forsyth and it was labelled icon. wow. my younger brother got a watergun. -.-
lang got a slip of paper with the mystery gift thingy in his doorgift- a watch- but he lost it and he told auntie teresa but let mansheng claim it. a moment later mansheng was seen jumping for joy. the gift was an R-17 dvd.
